Flat Top Frank

This film began as a short for the Frankenstein 200 initiative with the help of several Radford University students and evolved into a 30 minute documentary on the creation, development and evolution of the Frankenstein monster as most people envision it. Since its inception in 1931, the Boris Karloff Universal version of the creature has become the most easily recognized character in the world . . . despite the fact that story's writer, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, would not recognize it at all. Thoroughly researched and supported with rare images, articles and accounts, the documentary is alive and awaiting legal review before appearing with another project in development.

Enjoy the Show!

For close to 50 years, Hull's Drive In near Lexington, Virginia was the heart and soul of Rockbridge County, so when owner Sebert W. Hull passed on in 1998 and it looked like the institution would go under soon after, a group of concerned citizens known as Hull's Angels banded together to save the drive in. This is a unique story about a community who loved the drive in and made it the first publicly owned non-profit drive in in America.
